By accessing or using CleanTake ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
CleanTake is a browser-based audio editing tool that provides AI-powered transcription, script matching, silence trimming, and audio export features for voiceover artists, podcasters, and content creators.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental consent.
CleanTake offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Creator and Pro). Plan details, including transcription limits and pricing, are described on our pricing page and are subject to change with notice.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All payments are processed by Stripe.
New paid subscriptions may include a free trial period. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the period for which you have already paid.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at hello@cleantake.io within 14 days of the charge and we will review your case.
You agree not to use the Service to:
You retain all ownership rights to audio files you upload and content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your audio files solely for the purpose of providing the transcription and editing features to you.
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by CleanTake and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. TRANSCRIPTION ACCURACY IS NOT GUARANTEED AND DEPENDS ON AUDIO QUALITY AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEANTAKE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time through account settings or by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
